Also known as scallop squash and ten-toed squash, the pattypan produces a round, scalloped fruit. It is a summer squash, ready to harvest in 45 to 70 days after transplantation. Fruits can be picked when they are about 2″ in diameter, but remain tender until they attain a diameter of more than 4″. Squash need sun, watering, and plenty of space!
