Because of rain, the May 20 potluck dinner is postponed until Sunday, May 21, at 5 p.m. The guided movement meditation will be offered on a later date.
Hansberry Garden & Nature Center will inaugurate a pre-potluck series of member-led workshops this Saturday, May 20, at 4 p.m. with a movement meditation guided by dancer, choreographer and HGNC Board Member Megan Bridge.
Our potluck dinners, held on the third Saturday of each month at 5 p.m., are open to friends and neighbors of the garden as well as active members. This year, the HGNC Events Committee is recruiting members of the garden to present workshops in the hour before each potluck. The first workshop will be offered by Events Committee Co-Chair Megan Bridge, who says,
“Drop into your body and awaken your physical senses. Experience the garden through your moving body during this simple movement meditation.”
