Hansberry Garden and Nature Center and the Kelly Green Project will join good neighbors all over the city to pitch in to the 11th annual Philly Spring Cleanup hosted by the Streets Department, now on Saturday, April 14, 2018, from 9 a.m. to noon. Join us to help Southwest Germantown look its best!

Flowers, vegetables, and herbs, including a rich trove of native species, will be offered at Hansberry Garden and Nature Center’s annual plant sale on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Home-baked delights will also be available.
Looking for a great way to kick off St. Patrick’s Day? Join a group that’s committed to preserving and maintaining precious green space in Southwest Germantown. Hansberry Garden and Nature Center, located at 5150 Wayne Avenue at the corner of Hansberry Street, will hold its Spring Gathering membership event from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 17. The event will take place at the New Hope Temple Baptist Church, 5020 Pulaski Ave.
On Sunday, Oct. 15, from 4-7 p.m., Hansberry Garden’s fall harvest festival will offer live music, beer samples from Attic Brewing Company, and hot dogs and tofu dogs as well as our usual monthly potluck.
