The Foxy Doxies will offer whimsical, family-friendly educational music for children of all ages at Hansberry Garden on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 2 p.m. The show, to be held in our beautiful outdoor amphitheater, is free, although donations to defray costs will be gratefully accepted.

Philadelphia’s premier tongue-twisting nonsense band, the Foxy Doxies have played in venues such as the Free Library of Philadelphia, the Please Touch Museum, Bartram’s Garden, and a variety of festivals in the Philadelphia area. Their signature performance is a musical adaptation of a Dr. Seuss book that they call “Foxy Doxies’ ‘Fox In Soxies.'” Other silly songs incorporate tongue-twisters old and new; tunes about dogs and bees are also part of their repertoire. In case of inclement weather, the Foxy Doxies will play at the Weavers Way Germantown Outreach Office at 326 W. Chelten Ave.
