Shout out to the Germantown Friends School (GFS) middle school kids who volunteered at Hansberry Garden. They managed to clear all the weeds from the unkempt beds (most of the new beds will be going to new members) and put new soil on the ones that seemed most in need. Such a productive day!
Their hard work helped many new gardeners start planting right away and made Hansberry Garden look that much better.
