Hansberry Garden and Nature Center’s monthly potluck on Saturday, Sept. 17, will be enhanced by a concert featuring performer Lauren Scott. The event is free and open to the public, although donations to cover costs will be cheerfully accepted!

The date coincides with our monthly potluck dinner, but music fans need not bring a dish to attend. Snacks and beverages, including beer donated by Attic Brewing Company, will be available. Dinner starts at 5:30 p.m., and the performance is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Lauren Scott is a singer-songwriter from Philadelphia. They move past musical genres by looping crisp vocal harmonies over soulful acoustic guitar and vocal beats, to create songs that are earnest, folky, and enchanting.
