This Russian heirloom variety, named after the actor, singer and civil-rights activist Paul Robeson, produces very large, deep red fruit with brown shoulders that has a distinctive smoky flavor. Indeterminate plants need to be tresllised and reach a height of five to seven feet at maturity.
