Several vendors will join Hansberry Garden volunteers to offer a variety of plants, plant-related items and home-baked treats at the annual Hansberry Garden & Nature Center Plant Fair and Bake Sale on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Garden (5150 Wayne Avenue, in Philadelphia’s Southwest Germantown).

In keeping with tradition, the event will happen the day before Mother’s Day, and it’s a great place to pick up some cut flowers at Megan’s Bouquet Bar, a houseplant from Plant and People, or a perennial, herb or tomato seedling from Hansberry Garden volunteers.

Weavers Way Farms will offer a wide variety of top-quality vegetable seedlings, Basement Growing will offer numerous varieties of tomatoes, peppers and eggplants, and newcomers St. Bernard Seedlings will focus on herbs and blooming annuals.

As always, our talented home bakers will make sure you don’t go away hungry — and there are sure to be a few surprises! Don’t miss this annual Germantown event.
