We’ve had a great response to our Garden Tending Days, so far, and we want to keep it going. Hansberry Garden and Nature Center’s Garden Tending Days, are a time for members to come together and take care of our shared growing space. It also allows members a common time to meet one another and catch up. Tasks are kept simple and according to each member’s ability and refreshments are usually served. Participation in the Garden Tending Days is mandatory for members, according to the Membership Agreement, and are tracked.
Hours are from 9AM – 11AM and the rain date is the following Saturday.
The remaining Garden Tending Days for 2017 are:
- August 19
- September 16
- October 21
- November 18 (dependent upon the weather)
